What License are your themes released under?
All of our themes are licensed under the GPL.

Do you sell themes?
No. The themes at Elevate are 100% FREE! There are no catches or gotchas .. just 100% free and open source themes.

Do the themes on Elevate work on WordPress.com?
No, at the moment, they don’t. We hope to, one day, make a theme that we submit for use at WordPress.com, for the time being, our themes only work with the self-hosted version of WordPress that you can get at WordPress.org.

What does a Premium Membership get me?
Premium Membership is explained in great detail at the membership page, but in short, you get access to community support, theme documentation, and tutorials, as well as other perks reserved for members only.

What constitutes “support”?
Generally, questions about how the theme works, bug reporting, help with minor modifications, and the like.

What does not constitute “support”?
Don’t expect people to help you modify the theme completely, or even heavily. Major modifications to the theme should be done by a professional. Support forums are great for questions, but some people may be inclined to take advantage of others’ generosity and cross the line. Please be respectful to the people who help you in the forums, and don’t expect them to do everything for you. The forum is for support, and the moderators are not there to fix your every problem. They are there to help.

Are themes at Elevate easy to customize?
We think so. If you’re comfortable with CSS, I think you’ll do fine modifying these themes.

How can I get custom work done on a theme?
Currently, the best way to find someone to modify one of the themes at Elevate is to become a member, and post the job at the community forum. You’ll probably get a response there pretty quickly.

Can I hire you to help me?
Maybe. It all depends on my schedule. But if I can’t do it, other very capable designers and developers are always available.
